Through films featuring Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, and Professor Judy Armitage, the series explores the legacies of pioneers Kathleen Lonsdale and Marjory Stephenson — the first two women elected Fellows in 1945. Their stories highlight breakthroughs in crystallography and microbiology, and the continuing work to inspire and empower more women and girls to pursue science.
